How to Operate and Troubleshoot Doc Cam (online learning)
In the event that a document camera is not working, restarting the document camera resolves most issues.
Restarting the Document camera:

Turn on the doc cam by pressing the gray power button

The power light will blink red for several seconds, when it turns green, it is ready to use
When using the doc cam with your laptop, make sure the switch on the side is switched to “PC CAM”
Press the AUTO FOCUS button to automatically focus the image
Press the LAMP button to turn the overhead lamp on and off

Press the ZOOM IN/ZOOM OUT buttons to zoom in and out on the image

The arm of the doc cam can be extended and can swivel back and forth. The camera itself can also be rotated
Troubleshooting
If doc cam won’t power on
If the power light continues to blink red instead of turning green, unplug the power cable and then plug in back in
If the power light doesn’t come on at all, make sure the doc cam is plugged into power (if it is plugged into power and still no light, this could be a power issue in the room or the doc cam could be dead)
If image won’t display
Ensure that the USB cable is connected to both the doc cam and your laptop
Ensure that the switch on the side is set to PC CAM
Check your video settings and that your document camera is your selected video device
