Setting up your voicemail and greeting for the first time

To Access the voicemail system from your phone:

When you hear the audio prompt to enter your password, enter your phone/voicemail PIN followed by the # key.
- By default, your password should be 1234.
  - If you forget what your password is or require a voicemail password reset, please reach out to the IT Help Desk.
- You can press the * key to skip listening to your voicemail system summary and messages.
Press 4 in the main voicemail menu to access the following options:
- Press 1 to record your personal greeting.
- Press 2 to record your name.
- Press 3 to change the current greeting.
  - This option toggles between the personal greeting and system greeting.
For options 1 (record your personal greeting) and 2 (record your name) above, you can do the following:
- Press 1 to listen to your recorded personal greeting or name.
- Press 2 to re-record your personal greeting or name, then use the following options:
  - Press 1 to listen to your re-recorded personal greeting or name.
  - Press 2 to record your personal greeting or name again.
  - Press 3 to save the last recording.
Press 9 to return to the main menu at any time.
