Fall 2020 Early Alert System
OVERVIEW:
The Early Alert Taskforce is pleased to announce the launch of the fall 2020 districtwide early alert campaign, which began Sept. 21.
WHAT IS IT:
The early alert system will help faculty and staff identify students who may be facing obstacles to academic success and connect them with the appropriate College resources.
WHO IS THIS FOR:
Targeted early alert campaigns typically occur twice a semester and will generate an email to faculty to ask for feedback on the progress of students who meet early alert criteria such as GPA or specific course enrollment. The fall 2020 target population includes students with a GPA of 2.0-2.25 and students in ENG 030 and RDG 030.
Faculty may also submit alerts on any student in their courses by logging into Navigate Campus at any point in the semester.
STLCC will use early alert features in Navigate Campus to submit alerts and manage cases. For more information on how to submit a case, and to review frequently asked questions, please visit the Early Alert Page or send an email to earlyalert@stlcc.edu.
