What is mySTLCC ID and password?
Your mySTLCC ID is your unique STLCC username. Which is also the first part of your STLCC email address.
What is A-Number?
Your STLCC A-number is your unique identification number, that is system generated from Banner and should be kept confidential
Activating your MySTLCC ID, is as easy as ABC.
Before you begin, make sure you have your A number handy.

Access your MySTLCC ID
- Enter your A# number, last name and birthday to reveal your MySTLCC ID and email.

Be secure and change your password
- Everyone is given a default password when they create their account. Protect your grades, personal and financial information by creating your own unique password.
- Your default password is your student number. When logging in for the first time, be sure to include the capital A at the beginning and a number sign (also referred to as a hashtag - #) at the end.
- Simply go to stlcc.edu/setup, sign in with your default password and then click Change next to Password
- At the change password screen, make sure you create a unique password to help prevent someone from breaking into your account. Here are a few tips for creating your password and keeping it safe:
- Never tell anyone your password.
- Your password should be easy for you to remember without being easy for someone else to guess.
- Never write down your password.
- Don't choose a dictionary word as your password. Be creative.
- Include special characters such as punctuation marks, as well as a mix of capital and lowercase letters and numbers. A variety of characters makes it harder to guess a password.

Complete your security information
- It's easy to come back from a semester break and not quite remember your password. Setting up your security information now, you will be able to securely reset a forgotten or compromised password in the future.

Download the Microsoft Authenticator App
- Multifactor authentication, also known as two-step verification or MFA, protects your MySTLCC ID.
- When you sign into your account, we will send a notification or code to a place you trust, such as your email or phone. You then enter this code to get access to your account. The Microsoft Authenticator app allows for simplify accessing and securing your account.

To change passwords, please visit stlcc.edu/setup and click the Password tab if not prompted to change during login.
- If you have forgotten your password, click the "Can't access your account?" link on the login page and follow the steps.
