Wacom One Set Up
OVERVIEW:
Multiple faculty members were provided Wacom Tablets in order to provide a white boarding experience for their online classrooms. When the faculty receive the Wacom, there is some set up required in order for the faculty's machine to recognize the device.
STEP-BY-STEP SOLUTION:
- Install the Wacom Drives
- For College-owned devices, the package is available STLCC-Wacom-AP (STLCC side) and CLASS-Wacom-AP (classroom side)
- Plug the device into the computer
- Within the box, find the power brick, its detachable face plate and the USB cable.
- The USB-C end plugs into the tablet itself
- The HDMI and USB end plug into the computer
- The stand alone USB end plugs into the power brick
- Restart the computer with the device plugged into the computer
- Log back into the computer
- Open the Wacom Desktop Center, if it does not automatically open
- Go through the set up
- DO NOT REGISTER THE DEVICE
- Go into Display settings and set to Mirror settings
Now the faculty is able to use the Wacom Tablet for whiteboarding
