Canvas: Installing the Mobile App In the App Store / Play Store, search for Canvas. Make sure that the app icon is a red circle of profile icons against a white background. The publisher should be Instructure. Click on the Download or Install button. Once the app is installed, click on the app's icon to open it, or select Open from within the Play/App Store. When the app launches, it should ask you to enter the name of your school. You will need to type in "St. Louis" (note the period after St.) Please type it in exactly this way or it will not work. You should see St. Louis Community College pop up - select it. You will then be taken to a Microsoft sign-in screen. Please sign in using your full STLCC e-mail address. The password used here is the same one that you would use when signing into Banner Self-Service. You may be prompted to authenticate - the system may send you a text or call your authentication phone. Once authenticated, you should be signed into Canvas.
